WHO IS THIS GUY?
I'm a creative who gets unreasonably excited about solving problems - I’ll brain dump thoughts and ideas in finding an answer to the brief. I even keep a slides app of half-baked thoughts and ideas that come to me at any moment.
As a kid, my first day of Boy Scouts involved being chased by another boy scout wielding an axe, which immediately revealed a hidden talent for running. That was my first and last day of Boy Scouts. If I can outrun another kid with a heavy axe, I’m ready for anything.
These days, I channel that energy into rock climbing instead, hitting the indoor walls 1-2 times a week and occasionally venturing outdoors when climbing friends are going outdoors. Though I stick to easy climbs for now.
I once waited 2+ hours in line to shake Christopher Lloyd's hand and watch his signature form on paper - Worth it!
Enjoy a good costume party - the more low-budget and creative, the better (my Dali costume remains a personal highlight).
When the metaverse was having its moment, I taught myself 3D design to build brand experiences in virtual spaces. Even Snoop Dogg bought real estate in there. The metaverses didn't quite take off, but my curiosity did - which is why I'm now exploring AI and figuring out what it actually means for creative work.
On the lookout for more work and not tied to one city - I'm happy to fly to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or New Zealand for freelance (3+ weeks to a couple of months).
